Bahrain

 Bahrain is a small island country located in the Persian Gulf, between Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Its capital and largest city is Manama. Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands, with the largest island being Bahrain Island. Bahrain is known for its oil wealth, but has also diversified its economy into financial services, tourism, and manufacturing. The country has a highly developed infrastructure, and is known for its modern architecture and luxury shopping centers. The official language is Arabic, and Islam is the predominant religion. However, the country has a diverse population, including significant numbers of expatriate workers from South Asia and other regions. Bahrain is a constitutional monarchy, with a King as the head of state and a Prime Minister as the head of government. The country has a bicameral legislature, with an elected Council of Representatives and an appointed Consultative Council. Bahrain has a relatively high level of political freedom and civil liberties compared to many other countries in the Middle East, but has faced criticism for its human rights record, particularly in relation to the treatment of political dissidents and the Shia Muslim minority.
