Gautam Gambhir

 Gautam Gambhir is a former Indian cricketer, born on October 14, 1981, in New Delhi, India. He was a left-handed opening batsman, known for his ability to play long innings and his aggressive approach towards batting. Gambhir made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2003 and played 58 Tests, 147 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 37 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) for India. He was a part of the Indian team that won the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. Gambhir was a consistent performer for India in all formats of the game. He scored over 4000 runs in Test cricket, including 9 centuries and 22 half-centuries, and over 5000 runs in ODI cricket, including 11 centuries and 34 half-centuries. He was also a part of the Indian team that became the number one Test team in the world in 2009. Gambhir was known for his ability to perform under pressure and for his performances in important matches. He was the leading run-scorer for India in the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, and played a match-winning innings in the final of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, scoring 97 runs in the final against Sri Lanka. After retiring from cricket in 2018, Gambhir has been involved in politics and social work. He has also been a cricket commentator and analyst for various media outlets.
