Anil Kumble

 Anil Kumble is a former Indian cricketer and a legendary spinner. He was born on 17th October 1970 in Bengaluru, India. Kumble is considered one of the greatest bowlers in the history of Indian cricket. He is also known as "Jumbo" due to his height and his ability to extract extra bounce from the pitch. Kumble made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 1990 and went on to represent India in 132 Test matches and 271 One Day Internationals (ODIs). He was a right-arm leg-spinner and was known for his accuracy and his ability to bowl long spells without getting tired. He took 619 wickets in Test cricket, which is the third-highest by any bowler in the world and the most by an Indian bowler. He also took 337 wickets in ODIs. Kumble is known for his disciplined approach to the game, his never-say-die attitude, and his ability to take wickets in all conditions. He is the only bowler in the history of Test cricket to have taken all ten wickets in an innings, achieving this feat against Pakistan in 1999. He also captained the Indian cricket team for a brief period from 2007 to 2008. After retiring from cricket, Kumble has remained involved in the sport as a coach, commentator, and administrator. He has coached the Indian cricket team, as well as IPL teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab. He was also the chairman of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Cricket Committee from 2012 to 2016.
